Rollwaling Valley Trek
- Duration 13 days
- Activity level
Description
The challenging Rolwaling trek in Nepal leads to the ‘Grave,’ the tough Rolwaling valley and Khumbu region, requiring basic peak climbing skills. Highlights include stunning views of Mt Langtang, Gauri Shankar, and Mt Everest, amidst glacial lakes, glaciers, and isolated villages. Closed for years due to its Nepal-Tibet border location, the trail’s perplexing beauty is enhanced by Sherpa traditions and the Tashi Lapcha pass. Best undertaken in spring and autumn, the trek is suited for hardy trekkers or professionals.
