The Pilot on Watershed Management and Development Plan focuses on creating sustainable and community-driven models for managing water resources, land, and ecosystems in an integrated way. By generating a replicable model, it aims to balance ecological preservation with local livelihood needs, ensuring long-term resilience against floods, droughts, and other climate impacts. Simultaneously, the initiative seeks to build a regional civil society accountability platform on climate change in South Asia, empowering communities, organizations, and stakeholders to hold institutions accountable for climate action. This combined approach not only strengthens resource management but also enhances regional cooperation, transparency, and equity in tackling climate challenges.
